I'm boring living in the room for all day although I can read the books and use Internet all the time. It was ten days I arrived back to Singapore. I like to have fun today so, I left to Woodlands Crescent Park which is just 5 minute walk from my room. I brought some books to read and camera to take some photos in the park. Unfortunately, it began to rain lightly outside when I reach park. I could not stay long in the park and I got to come back because of rain. But, I could take some photos in the park. It is fun taking photos outside though I am not good in photography.

Bying a land

I bought a land in the last month with the prize of 7 million kyats. The location of the land is in Shwepyithar township, Yangon and the size is 40 by 60 feet. There are two old timber house in the land. I am very happy to have this land because I can be able to continue my dream to build beautiful house to be able to live together with my parents and my family.

It is my dream to build a house for my parents and my family. When I have saved 4.5 million kyats, I inquired to buy a land equivalent to the cost of 4.5 million. My sister suggested me to buy at Shwepyithar in which some of her friends and relatives are living. Two lands were available to buy with the prize of 8.5 and 6.5 million kyats in Shwepyithar. After we went there and checked the lands, we preferred to buy the land with the prize of 8.5 million although it is too far from my expected cost.
I offered the land owner with the prize of 7 million instead of 8.5 million kyats. On the next day, the owner replied us to purchase the land with the prize of 7 million kyats. I successfully had bought the land on 6th May 2010 with the cost of 7 million kyats. In fact, I borrowed 2.5 million kyats from my parents to be able to purchase 7 million. I hope, these borrowed money can be cleared in three months time.
Buying a land is only the first step since I have to build the beautiful house for next steps. My father estimated the cost to build the fence as second step but, it will cost about 6.5 million kyats. Although it is still far with my saving money, I have arranged and planned to build step by step start before end of this year. Currently the two families are living at these two house as they agreed and hired with previous owner. They payed 45 thousand kyats for two house per month. I have plan to renovate the old house for the people who hired and living at the moment before I build beautiful house for us. Even I am imaging to buy the land which is next to my land so that I can build bigger house for my future big family.

Flying with MAI

I visited to singapore few times with MAI airline but, this time is the first time with MAI aircraft because I met only Jetstar aircraft in all my trips. MAI have been flying to singapore sharing with Jetstar airline. There are MAI, Jetstar and Silkair line flying Yangon - singapore. MAI is flying to singapore for every day now like Silkair.
I flied to singapore by brand new MAI aircraft on 30th May 2010. It cost 335 FEC for two way one month ticket while Silkair cost about 380 FEC.
I saw the Myanmar national flag beside the entrance of the aircraft while I entering into the plane. While MAI flying in the sky, the captain announce the weather conditions by both Myanmar and English languages. The food that MAI serve to the passengers is more delicious for me. I never see business class in Jetstar aircraft when I flied with it but, in MAI new aircraft, I saw sky smile class like business class in Silkair aircraft. It is sure that I will choose MAI for my future visit to singapore. I could not fly with MAI in the past because MAI was not flying everyday, only four days a week. Now, she is flying everyday to singapore. If I have a chance to visit other country I will choose MAI if she is flying there because I wish MAI to success like other country's airline.
I've never been to another country except singapore and Malaysia Johor bahru. I visited many time to Johor bahru while I was working in singapore for two year (2007 to 2009). But, all are only day visit because I went there just for QC inspection of concrete products in Johor bahru plant and only few time I visit in the city.

1) It was 18th July 2007, I came to singapore with MAI Jetstar flight as the very first time not only visiting to foreign country also visiting by aircraft to search job in singapore.

2) 24th September 2007, I returned back to Yangon by same flight as I was not success in hunting job in singapore.

3) 3rd November 2007, I came back to singapore as a second trip together with my sister to find job by MAI Jetstar.

4) 6th December 2008, I returned back to Yangon by Silkair flight as a vacation.

5) 16th December 2008, I came back to singapore after vacation in Yangon.

6) 18th October 2009, I went back to Yangon by Silkair flight for job interview in Yangon.

7) 20th October 2009, I came back to singapore after the interview.

23rd November 2009, I returned back to work in Yangon by Silkair flight.

9) 5th February 2010, I came to my wife, who's still willing to work in singapore, by Silkair flight.

10) 25th February 2010, I went back to Yangon to work as my normal rotation.

11) April 7th 2010, I flied back again by Silkair flight to my wife's singapore as I could not stay in Yangon without her.

12) April 28th 2010, I went back again to Yangon to work as my normal rotation.

13) May 30th 2010, I flied back again to singapore by brand new MAI aircraft to see my wife. And I will go back to Yangon on 18th May 2010 as my normal rotation. I have plan to come back again singapore by MAI on 18th July 2010 to my wife.

New Dormitory

There are a lot of jobs in this rotation. But, the construction of Orphanage Dormitory is the most interesting job for me. The Dormitory building is small and just a simple one. It is designed by me and constructed by our team. It is constructed as timber structure and bamboo mat walling like tradition house design but, it is stronger than normal village traditional building. I am really happy to do like that extra job which is not my regular road maintenance routine job. Thanks so much to manager who assigned me to do this job. And he instructed me to finish safely within the budget and two weeks time. The limitation of budget and time could not make us fill to finish beautifully and safely with standard.
There are 12 children in that Orphanage and they are different ages (between 6 to 23 years old I suppose). One of them is very good in playing guitar and he is good in playing cane-ball and football too. He is about 20th years old and unfortunately, he have no more one leg in his body. It is amazing that he can play football well by the help of new plastic leg. Some of them are from Ayerawaddy division and they reached there after Nargis 2008. All of them are coming from difference place and difference reason.
Now, They can be able to live in new dormitory which is good enough to protect rain and wind in the rainny season. They can be use new toilet cleaner than the old one. We can see their happiness on their face for receiving new dormitory.

Dinner with friends

All of my friends in Singapore were invited to have dinner together at Inle Myanmar (Marina Square) at 7:00 pm to 8:00pm on 15th Feb. I like to say thanks so much to all of my friends for meeting there.

Who I am working for

I am working as a road maintenance supervisor in the company. As a small supervisor with a little knowledge, how much can I serve for the people! I may not be the key person as a leader to build the peace and developed nation for the people since I am not interesting and understand about the politic. I love Myanmar very much as a golden land citizen. I cannot give up my country even if there is nothing left for me. I will not leave my country forever even if I cannot get anything from my country.

I believe most of the people will really want to work for the nation and people. While I was working in Singapore, I wanted our country to be developed like Singapore. But, I am not very sure what I can do for the nation. As I am engineer, I like to construct the buildings (like MRT line and roads for the public transport, very big canal for drainage and high standard apartments for the people) in our country. In fact, it is just a dream and not easy to be able to do so.

However, I am always think to work for the people around me as I can. In the company, I am responsible to supervise the maintenance of the road which is about 75 km long and it is used by the company and public. In fact, I am working for the people who are using the road to be able to reach happily and safely to their destination. If the road is maintained in good and safe condition, it will be the very good service for the road user. For the social economic program (the village roads, school and clinic buildings) for the regional villagers, I am also involved and I am really happy to do like these extra works. Even more, I am also involving to keep the environment green as the one of the members at sometime. Therefore, while I am working for the company as a road maintenance supervisor, I am also working for our national people. At the same time, I can be the good person for my family, relatives, friends and all the people around me as I am able to work for them at recuperation period. Now, It should not say that I am not able to work for the people and nation because of small supervisor in the company since I am always think how I can serve the best for them
