Burns in my heart
Darkening my countenance
Taking me by storm
Raging within me
Tempest of fate
Building flame
Growing inside
Threats of violence
Primal urges
Thirst and Hunger
A Beast
Howling for release
Control waning
Closing my eyes
To a wash of Red
The only wine
Crimson flowing
A rush of copper
Seeping in
Drawing out
Moments to savor
Only too swiftly
Dies and fades away
Revenge taken
Empty again
